Well after much consideration I decided on a new format for this site. Instead of just album and single reviews and all that boring shtick, I’m turning the Country Connection into something more with a new feature coming soon. Posts will be minimal for now, but next week I will post my picks for top 40 songs and top 10 albums of 2009 and by New Years Day (or on it) the new setup will be revealed to stay tuned.

Brad Paisley certainly knows how to make a point. After professing his undying love to his wife Kim in “Then” and his appreciation for the new age that America has come into in “Welcome to the Future”, Paisley tackles an even more intriguing concept with his latest single “American Saturday Night”.
Single Review: “Rain Is A Good Thing” by Luke Bryan

It’s the simple things in life you treasure, such is the case with Luke Bryan’s second single from Doin’ My Thing, “Rain Is A Good Thing”. Thats not to say that the subject matter is simple, far from it in fact. Bryan manages to explore a more original concept while still keeping his newest work simple enough to enjoy without having to look to far into it, or try to hard to enjoy it.
